Finally, those who were itching to see Tonto Dikeh, perform on stage, were given a brief glimpse of her stage craft recently.

At the launch of his second album, ‘@IAMKASBEATS’ on December 1, pop artiste Kas, brought up the actress-turned-singer to the stage and they performed their collabo, ‘Sexy Whine’.

Kas paused in the middle of his solo performance to ask the audience, if they would like to see the Nollywood star. The response was overwhelming and he came into the crowd and dragged her to the stage amidst cheers.

Ever since Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, released her two singles, ‘Itz Ova’ and ‘HI’, it has generated lots of controversies on all social networks and airwaves.

It is a well know fact that Tonto and Wizkid are fond of each other, so for even the star boy Wizkid to have tweeted that, ‘Shawty needs to chill,’ shows that she ought to have chilled a while before coming out with such a trash called song.

What does he implying that she is not yet ready to hit the music industry because she is an actress and not a musician?

Tonto Dikeh has definitely emerged from all the scathing criticisms that greeted her first two singles, a much stronger person.

Not only has the actress-precipitate-singer gone on to grant interviews on her ‘music career’, she has been scheduled to perform at the Rhythm Unplugged concert on December 23. And just yesterday, we reported that Nigezie, will be sponsoring her new video.

Buoyed by all these, Miss Dikeh, is set to release new material. She revealed this on Twitter, where she confirmed she was working with eccentric artiste and music producer, Terry G, in the studio.

The Akpako Master himself confirmed it, tweeting “Recording a hit sound at the moment with @tontolet… Y’all gonna luv this one.. GBES!!”

Tonto added: “Greater surprizes** Hehehehehehe, Ya’ll better burn all ya speakerz oo**I’m coming again n stronger, No dullin*I rule it*”

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike has again hit it big, this time getting a free video shoot as winner of the Win A Video competition organised by Magic Factory and Nigezie in partnership with Beat FM and Naija FM.

The elated actress broke the news on the micro blogging site, Twitter, earlier today, ’Congratz Loverz. We jux won the Nigezie Magic factory/Beat FM ‘Win a muzic video promo’ Meanz I aint gonno spend a dime of ma money shootin #H’ @tontolet tweeted.

The competition which kicked off few months back, is the first of its kind and is aimed at helping upcoming musicians achieve their dream of a befitting video.

Another nugget is that she would be teaming up with Akpako master, Terry G to produce a hit single. According to their twitter feed, the two are currently recording what promises to be a club banger. We can’t wait to see the outcome of such a fusion.

Events: E-Rave to Host Tonto Dikeh, Uche Jumbo

Two of Nigeria’s finest actresses, Tonto Dikeh and Uche Jumbo will be hosted by the biggest entertainment industry weekly celebrity party, E-Rave this Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Club Rumours, located in Ikeja GRA.
